Ten little tiny pieces of art were made specifically for the existing landscapes at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum in Balboa Park. Exhibited for a few months and one fountain piece was purchased for permanant display. One piece (Legs Pegs and Points) was shown as if it were a large scale public art piece in the process of being installed. This meant, one of the components traveled on a flat bed rail trailer car for a number of weeks. We then used a tiny crane to set that last component into place and had an art opening with hundreds of tiny little people milling around the site. This event coincided with a party in the museum. These were all actual individual art pieces within a fantasy/real setting. Size keeps flipping around in ones mind when walking this museum. For me it was great to make small work that felt huge in its setting.
