I had taken a hike in Rancho Mirage and found a pole that had nothing on it. Someone had stolen the telescope or what ever was on it. Its behind city hall, and amusingly, the police station. I siliconed glass pieces together to make this sculpture in my studio. I installed it yesterday. No one sanctioned it. Its no longer there.
