Magnet Supported Collages

Picture

This series of collages are made for the Warner Springs Artisan Guild Wine and Art Trail.
They are all 9 x 8”. Bristol paper. They all have corresponding magnets with a nail provided. The nail goes into your wall and the Rare Earth magnet finds that nail and you (my collaborator) arrange it the way you like. I want you to easily access the back which has my personal notes to you about what it all means to me.

They are an affordable $30.00 each or 3 for $100.00.
I will put them all on my website. LMK if you want one/some before the show.

Click on any image and see the words that are written on the back.

I’ll be at La Serenissima Winery. Sept 7+8th from 11-5:00 along with many other great artists grouped in wineries that are all in Warner Springs, CA.

Magnet Supported Collages.    2024
Picture
They are sketches of art that will never be anything but what you see now. An intimate singular collage.

Imagine meeting this guy at a bar. He does a sketch on a napkin. Something he just thought about. When you part, Picasso signs his name and gives it to you.
I’m not implying these have any association with the grand master, just that they are concepts that activate the mind, but have no intention of becoming say, a public mural.

The nail goes into your wall. The magnet holds the collage in place by use of the design - magnet.
This piece requires no frame. Insists upon no frame really.
