DIVISIBLE SHOW

Divisible: Varied and Commingled Mediums

At the

Spruce Street Forum

October 2001

The two installation views of this exhibit show pieces made of plaster and metal. To the left of the arched window is called "Ledge: Off-set". Red-ish tinted plaster formed into two ledges. The top one shows small decomposing granite pebbles (Special to me because they made it through the laundry in my pocket, inadvertently.) The lower ledge is cast aluminum with an acorn cap. There are many pieces in this exhibit which create places for small mementos.

The cluster of cast aluminum pieces to the right of the arched window is called "Individuals Together". Unique forms with similar characteristics.

The other images shows "Ledge: Bracket: Blue, Red, Light red, Green". 8 feet tall, pigmented plaster with a graphite rub. This set of ledges hold out for observation 4 steel minimal, rust-patinaed forms. The metal forms are actually huge chucks from an industrial mill.
