The geology display was installed in the map case in January of 2007. I partnered with David Bloom (consulting geologist on environmental projects) and Tony Carrasco (SDSU Geological Sciences Dept. technician) to make a science based educational display that would reach a general cross section of the general public. This display hurls you back in history and yet for the most part is talking about what is directly in front of you, while waiting for your trolley car.
