"Existing Light"

I installed a fiber optic cable from the outside,
under the eaves of a house. The cable travels through
the wall and into this small sculpture, to illuminate
and reflect off of the silver foil. The room is
painted an eggplant purple and has the darkness of a
seductive bedroom. 14” tall, made of plaster, the
fiber optic comes through a red satin tub and reflects
onto the wall piece. This is site specific and not
movable.
