"Crying Wolf"
Cuyamaca, Rancho State Park, Ca

Painted dark gray 15" x 20" x 18" with accompanying text board 12" x 36"
Made for the Stonewall Peak trail in the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park in 1999. The outline of house shapes warns of future development in natural landscapes. The text board gives global population statistics. Park rangers removed this piece opting to remain with the threaded rod they had before the piece was installed. Jerry Schad wrote about it in his Roam a Rama newspaper column as an arts destination.
